The layout of the miniature railway was changed several times during the 1960s as the camp grew and more land was needed for car parking, water tanks, staff accommodation and alternative visitor attractions.

The Track Layout

Here we see a detailed plan of the track between 1961 and 1977. The author examines the points at the bend by the boating lake.
